Kyoshi Cliff Kinchen served and has over 20 years of experience as an U.S. Air Force Senior Leader, 10 of which as an U.S. Air Force Education and Training Command Leadership and Management Education Instructor and Superintendent. He has developed a ‘best in class’ leadership training program for middle school and high school students at Kinchen Martial Arts Academy.

he taught and supervised the training of thousands of students while in the military, At Kinchen Martial Arts Academy, Kyoshi Kinchen will use his education and experience to deliver a leadership program in three ways: 1) a Summer Camp Program consisting of over 10 hours of instruction over 3-days, 2) 2-4 hour Leadership seminars/workshops throughout the year,  3) integrated as a weekly option for Middle and high school students both members and non-members of Kinchen Martial Arts Academy.

This incredibly beneficial new program ‘S.I.D.E. KICK Leadership Academy’ is named after one of the foundational and strongest kicks in martial arts.  As with martial arts techniques, leadership also requires a strong foundation to be effective. There are times when someone may project their issues on someone else which can escalate to a physical confrontation. The Arts are designated to help practitioners heal not hurt. In understanding oneself, one can lead others to the same patience and grace which is exactly what this program is designed for. A strong side kick can swiftly alter the course of a physical confrontation, a strong leader can reshape the course of their life, and the lives of all whom they have contact with.
