​Melissa Kinchen is a 2nd Degree Black Belt and has been training in Martial Arts for over 20 years.  She is the General Manager in charge of all student enrollment activities and the day to day operations at Kinchen Martial Arts.

Melissa is from Mauldin, South Carolina.  During her youth, she trained in American Karate and achieved the rank of Brown Belt.  She attended the University of South Carolina, prior to enlisting in the Air Force, as a Medical Services Technician.  

During her time in the Air Force, Melissa began studying TaeKwonDo.  After her promotion to Black Belt, and due to her remarkable kicking ability, she assisted in the training of numerous students.  Her abilities as a “kicker”, garnered her several tournament wins.

Melissa is an instrumental part of Kinchen Martial Arts, and its service to the community.  She will continue to be a valued leader and member of the Kinchen Martial Arts Team.
